In the heart of Vancouver's Indian district (Surrey), in a little strip mall, you will find this place. It only has two booths so eating in is not a big part of their business. Instead, you will find an Indian "sweets" counter filled with confections, nuts, etc and a menu board. Take out food is top notch and great value. We are around here often and always tuck in for good food at home. Naan is very good. Butter chicken, aloo gobi, channa masala, chili chicken, curry, mater paneer, etc are all great. You can order spicy or regular and while regular has a little kick it is manageable. We always end up eating for a few days because the portions are large. Enjoy. Oh yeah, veggie samosas are super cheap so order a few of those for dinner or for the next day lunch

Kamals has a great menu with many choices of east indian cuisine..the pakora is outstanding..both chicken and vegetarian are very tasty and quite affordable.fantastic samosas also meat or vegetable are very good ..i give this a 8.5 out of 10...thanks from the borg-king

Love the quality of the food here. We always do takeout. Not a place I would eat in. It is clean but small. Eat in would be ok for a small snack. Take out always includes good portion sizes, excellent quality, and reasonable prices.
